[edit] Enrollment
Goetz has a total enrollment of approximately 2000 students. It is open to residents in Mississauga, located close to the school. However, an admission fee of CAD 50 is required. Once enrolled, a student may move to a farther location and still remain a student in the school.
[edit] History
The school was founded by Ed King, who was also the first principal. As the school was being built, the first year of classes took place on a campus at Etobicoke. The school was then moved to a shared campus on Christmas of the same year. They were to stay there for four more years, until the school building's construction was completed. It was open for the 1990-91 school year.
[edit] Uniform
Like most Catholic schools, Father Michael Goetz is very strict about the uniform. Students must wear a white dress shirt/golf shirt(with shirt tucked into pants), grey dress pants, and a green sweater. They can also wear Gatorwear which was sold by DECA.
