Fate's showdown! I am going to defeat you (Japanese: 因縁の対決！オマエにオレは倒せねえ, - Innen no taiketsu! Omae ni ore wa taosenee) is episode 147 of the anime series Naruto.

Mizuki drinks the formula and releases his curse-seal to Level One. Tsubaki falls on her knees, stunned by shock. Naruto rushes at Mizuki but Mizuki punches him back. Iruka calls Naruto's name but Mizuki appears behind him and gives him a karate chop to the jaw. Iruka makes a flip and wonders how fast Mizuki has become and the power. Mizuki likes the power and says that the power is impressive and that he himself is kind of scared. Tsubaki holds onto his arm and begs him to stop and begging him to return to the village. But Mizuki grabs her by the shirt collar and throws her. Iruka catches her in the air but Mizuki appears behind him and kicks him into a tree.

Naruto uses Kage Bunshin to make 12 clones. Mizuki says that he didn't improve on his move at all and uses his impressive speed to confuse Naruto. Naruto has his other clones to make a circle around him with their kunais sticking out. Mizuki thinks that since he came up with such a brilliant move, he'll increase the notch. Mizuki easily defeats most of the shadow clones and the real Naruto attacks him from above but Mizuki punches him down.

Naruto is impressed by the super high speed and Mizuki kicks him, calling him a stupid fox. He stomps on him and and grinds his heel into his stomach then stomps on him. Iruka gets up saying not to lay a finger on Naruto but Mizuki ignores this saying that he has been waiting for this day of revenge ever since that day then tells him to stand up. Iruka gets up and uses shurikens to attack and Mizuki says that there is still a big gap between the two of them. Mizuki grabs Iruka in a headlock and challenges him to use his power aganist his strength power. Mizuki says that even if Iruka trained 100 times he couldn't get the power resulted from Orochimaru's techniques. Mizuki grabs the giant shuriken and throws it at a helpless Iruka.

Naruto jumps in front of Iruka and protects him, just like Iruka protected him last time. Naruto grimaces aganist the pain and tells Mizuki not to lay a finger on Iruka. Mizuki laughs his laugh.

Mizuki: "This is a play! It's exactly the same as that time. How funny... But i've changed. My reason for falling is because of you, stupid fox."

Mizuki then activates his cursed seal and basically becomes half tiger and half man.

Meanwhile Ino can't hold the bond and lets it go. The Idiot Brothers break themselves from Choji's grip and Shikamaru can't hold onto the Shadow Imitation. The brothers stretch and prepare to do some punches on them. The brothers them prepare to attack but Tsunade comes to the rescue. She firsts cast a genjutsu binding and tells Team Asuma well done and tells them that she'll take over from here. Ino says that they are saved while the others are just in shock. She flicks them with a finger.

Tsunade: "I'm asking you why you're here." (flicks them with a finger, brothers fly back)
Ino: "She's strong..." (bewildered)
Choji: "Or rather, she's scary."

Tsunade interrogates them and learns that the brothers were to be rewarded with delicious food if they followed Mizuki. She then tells Team Shikamaru to rest. Tsunade easily defeats Fujin and Raijin and sends them back to prison, telling them that if they're late, they won't get dinner. Chanting "Food! Food! Food! Food!", the brothers run back the village. Team Asuma is very impressed.

Shikamaru: "Wow...What speed..."
Choji: "A man's gotta eat."
Ino: "That's only you."

Meanwhile, Iruka and Naruto fight Mizuki, but get pummeled by the astonishing speed of Mizuki's curse-seal at Level One. Mizuki gains great power from the formula, but when he releases his curse-seal to Level Two, he gains strength but loses speed in exchange from what Pakkun told Iruka. Iruka rushes to Naruto's aid. Naruto is in Mizuki's grip but still asks Mizuki where Sasuke and Orochimaru are but Mizuki tells Naruto that he should be begging for his life. Naruto notices a glint of light behind the trees and sees Iruka using lip motion to tell Naruto to follow him. Naruto ducks under Mizuki taunting him to catch him. Mizuki chases him and Iruka, tells Naruto to fly and uses Fuubaku Houjin (Sealed Bombs: Square Formation) technique.

Naruto then nails Mizuki with Rasengan, and Mizuki literally starts to wither. Iruka is deeply impressed and happy for Naruto. Tsunade appears and explains that Mizuki's cells are starting to self-destruct, which makes him look like a old man. Unfortunately for Mizuki, the formula that Orochimaru gave him was incomplete.

Team Iruka meets Tsunade at Orochimaru's old hideout and she explains the details of the medicine. It infuses a person's genes with animal DNA and gives them incredible strength, but the strain is too great for a normal person's cells, so it is ineffective. But by now, it is evident that there was a relationship between Mizuki and Orochimaru. Normally the medicine would have killed a non-shinobi, but Mizuki is still alive. However, he will most likely never be a shinobi again. Tsubaki says that they can start all over. A pathetic and "burned-out" Mizuki is brought back to Konoha.

Meanwhile Sakura makes progress in her medical training and makes a dead fish come back to life. Tsunade tells them that they should go to the hospital and all of a sudden, Sakura comes shouting that she cleared the seventh level. Iruka thinks about how strong Naruto has become.
