FatFreeFilm, is a bi-monthly audio podcast catering to those interested in the film industry in general, and independent filmmaking in particular. Hosts, Joel Marshall and Kamala Lopez-Dawson, interview industry insiders; many of which are award winning directors, costume designers, film editors, and producers. Past guests have included: Peter Bogdanovich, Henry Jaglom, Paul Dinello, Leonard Nimoy, Patricia Arquette, Thomas Jane, Bruce Cohen, Karen Black and Tom Rolf.

The interviews typically run between forty-five minutes to an hour and are devoid of Hollywood tabloid material. Guests are given the opportunity to share their experiences as they pertain to those interested in following similar creative paths.

As of March 2007, there has been over 50 episodes.
