Warped concepts are similar to homophones, only what has been mutated is not the pronounciation but some aspect of the concept, making the concept ineffective.
[edit] Warped Concepts among Animals
Antelopes and other Bovidae live in herds and occasionally fight with each other for rank.
- "Stand together" can mean "stick together" ¹) or "standing nearby"
- "Fighting with others" can mean "against each other" or "side by side" (against predators).
Living in a herd only becomes useful when the herd offers protection, which it most usually does not. Some herd animals are protected by their herd more often than others. Especially elephants are more protective about their herd and dolphins are known to protect their pods.
¹) For humans there are similar phrases, e.g.: stick together (stick {en} -> stock {de}) -> stock to gather.
[edit] Saturday / Sunday
What's the point of having two holidays per week with differing priorities? This is probably a mutation of having two holidays with exactly the same character, so that somebody who has to work on one of the days can be sure to take the other one as a day off.
