predator -> pre-dater -> to antedate, to backdate
Bagdad -> backdate
- Predatory precedents sometimes mutate to pre-dating (e.g. historic events or pre-historic events)¹
- Associativity: Predating a document can be exploitive (predatory) behaviour.
¹) Hence the joke: "I know it has always been here but has it always been here yesterday?"
back datt {de} -> backdate
[edit] Observations
- Humanity acts as a predator that appears to be benevolent most of the time. (e.g. animals are fed until they are slaughtered)
- Most herd animals react to predators only by protecting themself, not their peers.
- Some predators drag their victims under-water.
[edit] YHVH as a pre-dater
- 'At twilight you will eat meat, and in the morning you will be filled with bread. Then you will know that I am the LORD your God.'
- 'O you who hears prayer, to you shall all flesh come.'
- 'This bread is my flesh, which I will give for the life of the world.'
- 'Behold, I am the LORD, the God of all flesh. Is anything too hard for me?' -> Is that too hard for you [to understand]?
This is consistent with the assumption that the consumption of meat may accelerate your aging process, as a karmic reaction. Cows and pigs are killed more or less unsuspecting. While killing humans is something humanity is quite firmly opposed to, taking away some of the life time of a creature (even of humans) is not something humanity seems to care much about (e.g. cigarettes, alcohol, drugs). An accelerated aging process would be "taking away some of the life time of an unsuspecting creature in a way that humanity justifies by precedent".
