From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
nose (no + see): not seeing. Not seeing what is inconvenient to see or what is somebody else's problem.
- Example: In the movie Dogma god pushes Bethany on the nose (making a noise that sounds suspiciously like "meek")
- Deducing somebody's no-see from the size of his or her nose is naiv. The metaphor is used this way but it is, of course, not generally, true¹
- Example: Pinocchio, only a large nose is the karmic reaction to not seeing (false perception) instead of lying (false account), a complement, as you may have noticed.
- ¹) like sequences of DNA metaphors can be inactive at times. Assuming YHVH statements to be generally true is a fallacy².
- ²) the latter statement can make the job of a Java programmer difficult.
nose -> Nase {de} -> nah' seh {de} -> short-sightedness
- Being short-sighted in not being able to foresee the future, to anticipate consequences.
- See also: glasses (which rest on the nose).
Not seeing the problems of others is also related to not being able to foresee the future, as the trend of mistreatment of others may spread until it becomes a problem that affects your own community or your own life. This is especially true for trends that are driven by karmic reactions.
nose -> Nase {de} -> naß {de} -> wet er -> weather
[edit] Examples
- With light coming from straight above the typical Hitler beard looks like the shadow of a nose.
- blackheads -> mitesser {de} -> mit {de} + esser {de} -> meat eater make your nose uglier.
- A skull doesn't have a nose.
- The Great Sphinx of Giza doesn't have a nose: "Humanity is a great predator, would you please cut off its nose?"

Antonym : NASA is planning ahead very thoroughly.
- If the news presenter tells you NASA aimed for venus but hit mars he is not lying, he's merely talking to you in an unexpected language, which is this one. Newspapers and TV news are often metaphorical¹. You can often recognize this by merely considering the statement that is made: It's ridiculously unlikely to aim for venus and hit mars instead. This is also to be found in historical information like "Christopher Columbus wanted to go to India". He couldn't possibly have been so stupid.

An Somebody Else's Problem field (SEP) field can be erected on, or projected around a bizarre and unbelievable scene so that the unconscious minds of the observers instantly abdicate responsibility for its existence, assert that it's "somebody else's problem", and therefore don't perceive it at all.
