metal is homophone to me tall.

"Me is tall" would be the utterance of a stereotypical Neanderthal who thinks he is powerful or clever.
This carries the connotation that the speaker is not very clever.

The excessive use of metal in construction or household items is an effect of the in-tuition: "You think you are tall, do you?"

Also: metal -> mental -> "implied need for a Psychologist"

precious metal :

This is a variant of the association between greed and alcoholism.
This refers to exploitation as a karmic boomerang: If you exploit others you set the precedent to be exploited yourself.

noble metal : see gold
