football : soccer
street game : "outside a house" + game
- Hypothesis: Assume somebody with a lot of money was bribing people (everybody) to fool you, whereever you go. To the people that may sound like a harmless but expensive joke with an obvious solution (use up the funds) while to you it may seem dangerous. (as in The Game). A good solution may seem to be visible to as many people as possible and to hand out information. (as in the final scene of It Could Happen to You [1]: a balloon flying over New York, distributing paper). This hypothesis reveals some amazing shortcomings of capitalism.
- [1] I didn't watch anything but the final scene so don't complain if it's a waste of time.
[edit] Observations
- Football is a ball game.
- There is an Elfmeter [1] (Penalty kick).
- There are 11 [1] players on each side.
- There is a break in the middle of the game.
- There are 2 goalkeepers (-> Torwart {de} -> Tor {de} + wach {de} -> fool [2] + awake)
- Football stars get high wages for playing a game. (-> isle [3])
- [1] see elf
- [3] this isle is, more or less, democratically sanctified by the football fans
