Advertisement from 1913 National Geographic

adhere : ad + here -> "Place an advertisement here".

"No, don't teach, feed them some more gibberish. How can that be a good idea?" [1]

[1] Unfortunately, if you want a rationalization why it might be a good idea you will get one because YHVH can rationalize even the most ludicrous concepts (if all you want is to be right) [2]. (see Wrong track)
[2] Unfortunately wanting to be right even in face of painfully obvious confutation (rebuttal) is a strong human precedent.

[edit] What advertisements can tell you

  • "Mein Bac, dein Bac, Bac ist für uns alle da" (german advertisement for antiperspirant) -> "Baccalauréat for everybody (worldwide)"
    • Observations: If your neighbours didn't use antiperspirant, that can be your problem, too.
  • "Altersvorsorge [1] von R+V": The first picture shows doves and a bench, the second picture shows a beach chair (with protection from the sun) and a Möwe.
[1] old-age provisions
  • Volkswagen, IKEA and some others have pilingual advertisements where the translated metaphor says something about the company. As YHVH metaphors have no credibility the only statement you can derive from that is that there is probably somewhere in the company or the advertisement agency a person that knows the language, which is probably not a very interesting information. In case of Volkswagen, they might have some mexican music in their car, at least to my knowledge.
  • Actimel hilft der Ver-DAU-ung (-> helps the digestion.)
  • "Douglas macht das Leben schöner." {de} -> 'You glas' makes life more beautiful.
[1] less plausible mutation
  • Monster: "I'm a monster because I want a job that agrees with me" (see Chevrolet)
  • Sandoz: sun + DOS is a pharmaceutical company (-> makes you healthy, as opposed to dead)
