From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Fourier transform is the mathematical foundation of the music format MP3.
furrier (comparison to furry): "to have more hair" ¹
- ¹) Anybody who has made an attempt to understand fourier analysis will probably agree that it's hairy.
Charles Fourier suggested Phalanstère:
-
- Phalanstère -> "pflanzt er es?" {de} -> "do you plant it?"
- Phalanstère -> intentional community
This is the idea of communities and community buildings only from today's point of view it has the apparent quality "this cannot be serious"
- -> "You don't seem to consider larger intentional communities very sensible?"
Association: "intentional communities are a way to spread music."
[edit] Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy
Mighty starships plied their way between exotic suns, seeking adventure and reward amongst the furthest reaches of Galactic space. In those days spirits were brave, the stakes were high, men were real men, women were real women, and small furry creatures from Alpha Centauri were real small furry creatures from Alpha Centauri. And all dared to brave unknown terrors, to do mighty deeds, to boldly split infinitives that no man had split before — and thus was the Empire forged.

Similar to the Geek Code and OmniCode the Furry Fandom ¹ has a Furry Code, these are probably all untranslated metaphors for the concept of "writing down concise descriptions of your personal thoughts about music". My personal view of what this is most probably about can be found on the ESP/PEER homepage ²
- ¹) The Furry Fandom also contains the idea to "represent animals by humans", which would be the idea to represent the interests of animals towards human society by human representatives (e.g. a whale embassy)
- ²) As usual I made the connection between the various codes and PEER only after I started working on PEER so this is again looking back and noticing that there were hints, only they weren't easily understandable beforehand. ³
- ³) This does not mean ESP/PEER is a good idea, it might be a wrong track: "with your personal view of things, couldn't it be possibly a good idea to do that?"
