It is equally possible that foot problem is a mutation of food problem as the other way around. That is what I refer to as missing causality in YHVH's language. What you can recognize is an intended similarity, what you make of it depends on what you consider ethically or logically more relevant ("missing ethics"). A third possibility is that neither is a mutation of the other but that the self-similarity is putting both statements together, which could mean either "Saving your souls is strongly related to solving your food problem" or, simply, "both is equally important". A further question would be what "saving your souls" actually means: it could mean solving the problems of our modern society (see Karma), or refer to immortal souls, whatever you consider to be more relevant. The first interpretation would nicely include the food problem, as animal welfare is a requirement for an ethically advanced society, especially when you assume that the precedent of animal mistreatment will always return as a karmic boomerang.
