Animals : a + nimm + all -> a take-all

Animals are probably strongly correlated with taxi drivers.

Shadowing: This synonym may appear to draw away attention from actual animals, as taxi drivers are humans and redefining animals as taxi drivers leaves you without a word for actual animals. The restriction of taxi drivers to humans is, however, an unnecessary restriction. Animals mostly do react to external stimuli (to taxis), so the equivalence is meaningful, even if not justified.

From a human point of view accepting that other humans could have animal status, and consequently reducing their constitutional rights or human rights is accepting subhuman status for arbitrarily [1] choosen peers.

It is a human precedent to consider creatures that do not communicate in a proper language animals. [2]

Incidentally subhuman creatures are a common theme in fantasy literature, e.g. Lord of the Rings

Complement: You may want to raise some animal species to subhuman status (e.g. Cetacea and Primates)

Cetaceans : Sieh' {de} + da {de} + sie {de} + ens {KSH} -> "Look there, see (once / once more / once again)" [3]

See also: Ethical Considerations, "Coincidentialism" [4]

[1] e.g. "I'm something better than my peers because I rolled a six on the die."
[2] Following that precedent the YHVH language might be even more important.
[3] Cetaceans as a metaphor for humans:
  • Live in the sea.
  • Their tail is a fluke (lucky coincident).
  • Cetaceans are nearly hairless.
  • They are insulated by a thick layer of blubber. (-> blubber {de} -> stupid talk)
[4] Opportunism lacks the connotation of racism or speciesism (claim to superior status). Coincidentialism would be the belief that winning the lottery (any kind of lottery) allows you to feel superior over people who didn't win, see also: troll.

[edit] Observations

Large animals [1] :

  • The whales are the largest sea animals and they resemble huge fish.
  • The elephants are the largest land animals and they even use their noses for gripping.
    • Elephants are even born with skin that looks old and leathery. (see sausage)
  • Giraffidae : Gier {de} + Affe {de} -> greedy monkey
  • "ein hohes Tier" {de}
    • translation: a big shot
    • literal translation: a large animal [2]

Small animals :

  • The ant is a tiny worker.
  • Many small animals are insects[3].
  • Many small animals can fly.
  • worms are barely animals at all. [5]

Plants:

"Animals get eaten" -> "Animals get digested" -> "Tiere werden verdaut" {de} -> "Tiere werden ver-DAU-t" {de} -> "Animals get stupefied" [3]

[1] Shadowing: the large animals are mammals and rather peaceful and comparatively intelligent creatures. Interestingly the aspect here is the actual size, not the evolutionary sophistication. (e.g. flying mammals belong to the small animals that can fly). Aspect Orientation makes the evolutionary sophistication of an animal an unrelated fact that may have a different meaning. This way the arbitrary separation into aspects can even teach something useful: To properly distinguish related but unequal aspects.
[2] That may be a hint what you want to avoid: People in important offices should adhere to high ethics.
[3] insects -> in + sects, Shadowing: this represents a small community (or any community) with one of the more pejorative terms.
[4] Propaganda, another human precedent. The conclusion that anybody who is badly informed or uneducated is to be blamed him - or herself is a logical fallacy: wishful thinking.
[5] Even if the metaphor is reversed [6] (and the lesser animals are "less of an animal") that doesn't have to be generally true, of course. (see Limited Scope)
