Regarding the accuracy of Clairemont High School as the school Cameron Crowe attended undercover: while it's true that around the release of the book and the film he said the school was in Redondo Beach, CA, it was later revealed that it was specifically Clairemont High in San Diego. See these more recent news articles for evidence: [1] [2] --Arteitle 04:42, May 5, 2004 (UTC)

Regarding the "Films selected for this honor are "not necessarily the 'best' American films ever made or the most famous, but they are films that continue to have cultural, historical or aesthetic significance"", why does that need to be there? There's no similar disclaimer on the pages of other films in the registry. --Bitoffish

  • It be GONE. Wahkeenah 11:08, 17 January 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Parodies?

Has the bikini scene from Ridgemont been parodied? This would be good information to add. Ghosts&empties 20:10, 17 May 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Music

Thanks to whoever figured out that the music playing during the pool scene is The Cars - Moving in Stereo! --JR 19:07, 9 September 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Naked Picture

Is the topless picture at the bottom really necessary? i dont object because of the nudity, its the fact that its completely unnecessary nudity. i dont think it serves a purpose other then spreading a topless picture of an actress around the internet.Miles 04:30, 9 September 2006 (UTC)

  • Are you serious? That is one of the best scenes in the entire movie! --JR 18:49, 9 September 2006 (UTC)
The topless is famous and a part of pop culture. The article not reflects that. Also, I did some cleanup, so can some one copy-edit behind me or possibly flesh out the plot summary spoilers? Thanks. Please no wholesale reversion; I'm working to make it better. BabuBhatt 03:34, 12 September 2006 (UTC)
