[edit] Copied text?

Much of this is word-for-word identical to the marvel.com profile. I can't see the history information on that so don't know which came first. --Mrph 23:07, 17 September 2006 (UTC)

Pretty much is. i just threw it up to have something to work with. Picture is the only one of any quality I could find, and it may be from OHOTMU, or from the original comic book Fasaud first appeared in. I don't see whay it would be a problem, since OHOTMU is a comic book, and using low-res images in informational format is fair use as far as I know.

Marvel.com copy is pretty much used throughout internet databases, but if it represents a problem it should be easy enough to modify. Since marvel puts it forth this information for public disemination to advance its product, (ie, official press release or ad copy)it should also comply with fair use. It depends on whether Marvel defines its .com information as ad copy or licensed salable product.

My lawyer-fu is weak and so I will let others work it out.—The preceding unsigned comment was added by Scrapper (talkcontribs) 5 October 2006.

Well, Wikipedia:WikiProject Comics/copyright specifically mentions OHOTMU in the Images which cannot be "fair use" section, as it's not quite the same situation as a with a normal comic book image. Not sure exactly where things stand with Marvel.com text, but if it's not listed with suitable disclaimers there, I suspect Wikipedia still can't use it. Sorry. --Mrph 07:38, 5 October 2006 (UTC)

Edited the bio...I will try to find a new image as well. Scrapper 02:18, 11 October 2006 (UTC)Scrapper

[edit] Union Jack

Ok, so Fasaud's back and appeared in the recent Union Jack limited series. He's also had a serious redesign - looks much less like a caricature now. Ideally, I think we want an image of each version on the page. The original is distinctive - and is why he attracted criticism as a racist stereotype - but the new one will probably be more relevant to future appearances. --Mrph 00:15, 12 March 2007 (UTC)
