Fast Eddy's

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Fast Eddy's is a fast food restaurant chain in Perth, Western Australia. It is most notable for being one of the few Perth restaurants open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week including public holidays. The restaurants are split up into two sections. A sit down table service restaurant and a take away section (with the same food, but cheaper). The restaurants are decorated with memorabilia such as old advertising signs, number plates etc.

The flagship burger is the EddyBurger. Other popular burgers include the Cop the Lot Burger, the Steakburger and the Super Hotdog.

The burgers are regarded as higher quality than McDonald's and Hungry Jack's. Fast Eddy's is regularly named the best place to get a hamburger in Perth by the food pages in the Sunday Times and The West Australian. All of the patties are thick ground beef, all of the buns are toasted. Despite this, the take away section is only marginally more expensive than McDonald's and Hungry Jack's, with a burger, chips, and bottle combo selling for approximately $10 in the takeaway section.

What customers might not understand,or be annoyed to find out is that the asking purchase on the menu boards leaves out the fact that the customer will then be charged with a surcharge of gst and if a public holiday,a further surcharge.

eg:A burger, fries and milkshake combo is stated as $10.95,however once GST and(or) if a public holiday this will cost $12.05.
When you order a meal from McDonalds or Hungry Jacks(or any fast food place within limits) usually the menu bourd price is exactly what you will pay.
