Respectfully, the photograph is a derivative work from the original artwork and the original artist has a claim to it even if we don't know who she is. It can not be considered a public domain image unless the original artwork is very old or I'm missing something.

It's been two weeks since I posted the above and there is still no clarification showing that this is in the public domain. Please provide such clarification if you possess it. Otherwise we will either have to claim fair use for the image or let it go, which would be a shame. - Haukur 18:04, 25 January 2006 (UTC)
