Farwah bint al-Qasim

Farwah bint al-Qasim (Arabic: فروة بنت القاسم‎) was the mother of Ja'far al-Sadiq, the sixth Shi'a imam. Her father was Qasim ibn Muhammad (ibn Abu Bakr). Her great-grandfather was Abu Bakr, the first caliph of the early Islamic state.
