Farukolhufushi is one of the uninhabited islands of Kaafu Atoll in the Maldives.
The Club Med on Farukolhufushi was destroyed during the tsunami on December 26, 2004.
The island of Farukolhufushi is now no longer a village of Club Med, but still a tourist resort run by another company. It was reopened around the end of 2005 and renamed as Club Faru[1].
