Farswal

Farswal is gotra of Jats found in Delhi, Uttar Pradesh and Haryana in India. They were stone crushers during Mughal dynasty. As there are many stone mines near Delhi, so they were mainly attached in this profession. Their villages of origin were in Delhi(Pahari Dheeraj and AdChini) and then moved to Uttar Pradesh and Haryana in search of better prospects. Sultanpur, near Murad Nagar Distt Ghaziabad, in Uttar Pradesh and Kosli in Haryana are their known villages.
