Farrukh Dhondy

Farrukh Dhondy is an Indian Parsi, a former schoolteacher, an activist and a spokesman. A graduate of Pembroke College, Oxford, he is famous for his strong opinions, voiced in several newspaper and journal columns, as well as in the films for which he successfully writes scripts. A renowned writer of books, whether for children, young adults or adults, Dhondy is also a playwright, a biographer (of C.L.R. James) and a former media executive (Channel Four Commissioning Editor for Multicultural Programmes).
