Farnese is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Viterbo in the Italian region Latium, located about 100 km northwest of Rome and about 35 km northwest of Viterbo. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 1,727 and an area of 52.9 km2.[1]
Farnese borders the following municipalities: Ischia di Castro, Pitigliano, Valentano.
