Farm to Market Road 2493, or FM 2493, is a major thoroughfare located in Smith County, Texas, partly within Tyler, Texas, that roughly parallels US 69 for its entire length. It is approximately 21 miles in length and is signed as Old Jacksonville Highway[1]. The route primarily serves northbound through traffic by bypassing the congested southern portion of Loop 323.
