Farm to Market Road 1000 or FM 1000 is a state funded road from Cookville, which is to the east of Mount Pleasant, south to SH 49. The route has recently been designated further west to an intersection with US 271, but has not yet been constructed. When finished, it would form a modest loop around the southern portion of Mt. Pleasant.
