Farhad is the name of 4 kings in the Persian Empire.

Farhad Mehrad (1943 - 2002), widely known as Farhad in Iran, was an Iranian pop musician and singer.

Farhad is also the name of a legendary character who fell in love with Shirin, the wife of Khosrau II of Persia.
