"Farewell and Goodnight" is a song by The Smashing Pumpkins, notable for featuring Billy, James, D'arcy, and Jimmy on vocals. It is the last song on disc two of the double-disc Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness. It was written by both Billy Corgan and James Iha.
The song is also noted for containing a piano solo at the very end of the song, somewhat mirroring the first titled track, albeit in a cheerful and somewhat hopeful tone and thereby completing the emotional voyage that is the entire two-disc album.
The song has inspired the internet slang term F&G.
