Far from the Sun is the sixth album from Amorphis. It features the original drummer Jan Rechberger because Pekka Kasari had quit to concentrate on family duties and is the last album to feature the vocals of Pasi Koskinen.

The U.S. release is packaged in a slipcase and features five bonus tracks.
