Fangry is the name of a fictional character from the Transformers universes.
[edit] Transformers: Generation 1
Fangry's name says it all about his personality. He is generally a barely contained kernel of rage at the best of times (exceeded in that regard only by the Firecon Flamefeather). He despises authority in all forms and is deeply anti-social, meaning the only Transformers who fear him more than the Autobots he faces are his own Decepticon comrades, who have trouble even controlling him. They tend to suggest thing rather than flatly order him around in order to avoid the berserker rages that follow. Because of this, Fangry has a stubbornly headstrong streak, as he'll do things his own way without any regard to such things as strategy and tactics. Unfortunately this means that the other Decepticons are likely to abandon him on the battlefield if he wrecks their plans.Fangry is binary bonded to Brisko, a former Nebulan cartographer with a photographic memory and a desire to look out for number one. This usually clashes with Fangry's usually battle plan of tearing into the enemy as soon as possible, and often leads to a deep mental conflict within the Decepticon. He transforms into a humanoid wolf creature.
[edit] Marvel Comics
Fangry originally appeared as part of Scorponok's forces on Earth. He was present for many of the battles against the Autobots, and was later transported to Cybertron to battle the coming of Unicron. After his defeat the Autobots and Decepticons settled into an uneasy peace. Fangry was one of the most vocal critics - until confronted by Grimlock. The Dinobot leader's Nucleon enhanced frame allowed him to easily thrash Fangry, until Prowl and Bludgeon intervened. The Decepticons later betrayed their Autobot allies, and lured them into a trap on the planet Klo, where they were easily wiped out. Fangry led a search party hunting for survivors, seemingly missing Grimlock's group - until they doubled back, with Fangry gloating that he had sensed their location all along. His boasting was soon ended by Grimlock, who smashed through his chest with one punch.
Fangry was presumably repaired, and appeared on several occasions in the Transformers: Generation 2 comic as one of Bludgeon's henchmen on the Warworld. After Megatron returned and killed him, Fangry was seen in a crowd scene as Megatron exhorted the Decepticons to slaughter Jhiaxus' troops. He was seen again as part of the Autobot/Decepticon alliance that routed the second Generation Decepticons on Ethos. It is unknown if he survived the battle against the Swarm.

In Japan the toy of Fangry was released as Wilder, one of the Decepticon Headmaster Juniors. A completely different character in Japan, Wilder was a human who was given a Transtector body by the Decepticon, and could become the head of its robot mode.
Wilder was described as a former biker gang leader who had a rivalry with Goshooter. He is highly intelligent and malicious, keeping a level head in battle, but does possess a code of honor.
