Fans of Fantasy (FOF) is a Fantasy fansite founded by Tom Pickett, from Winchester, Virginia, United States. The site's content is composed of news, editorials, synopses of the Harry Potter, Eragon, Lord of the Rings, Pendragon, and many more books and films, an encyclopedia of the books, a chat room, a discussion forum, and media such as image galleries, video galleries and Podcast. There is also a fan fiction section, a weekly quote contest, a weekly riddle contest, and other occasional contests and polls.
Warner Bros., 20th Century Fox, and others the producers of Fantasy movies, such as Eragon and Harry Potter, regularly send FOF pictures taken from the upcoming movies before they are released, and give various other previews to other things.
FOF has a podcast and a live news segment caught on video still in production.
The site gets money through advertisements with Google and other advertisers. FOF has been mentioned in * childrens magizines as one of the best places for trailer and info especially for Eragon.

Tom Pickett was born on 6 June 1989, and is the founder of FOF. He now lives in Winchester, Virginia.
Tom planned the site with various other top Harry Potter webmasters on the web and some Eragon webmasters and eventually released the site on 1 October 2006 after months of planning.

The FOF galleries were founded after the founding of the site. It contains Potter, Narnia, Eragon, LOTR, and other series. Right now it stands as one of the largest fan site galleries. It runs off of the software coopermine. The unique thing about it is that users can upload images and have their own profile and such. It integrates right into the Fantasy forums of FOF.
FOF galleries not only have Images but it has videos. It has the largest online source of Videos in the fantasy genre together in one place. Users can send in fan movies to be added and of course send in recommendations. It runs off custom software coded by the founders.

FOF has been involved in a number of partnerships since their opening in 2006. They took up the partnership with TPP services a graphics site that deals with graphics for Fantasy sites and also with business sites.
They partnered with Dervish and Banges.Com the first and largest Potter graphics site.
RAHP a site that helps new up and coming webmasters get their site noticed has recently partnered with FOF.
FOF partnered with Narnia Fans.Com the largest source on the web for Narnia info usually referred to the Mugglenet of Narnia sites.
FOF recently went into partnership with a social network centered around Fantasy Fans. It uses the software phpfox and is widely known for being the first and only social network for the Fantasy genre.
