[edit] Synopsis
When Rygel decides to save himself and sell out the crew of Moya to the Peacekeepers, the Moyans must come up with a way to escape, which is hampered by Moya's new baby Leviathan. When Rygel arrives on the Command Carrier, he discovers that the situation isn't what he thought it was--Scorpius is taking over and Crais is about to lose command, so the two form an alliance and Rygel and Crais go to Moya to seek asylum. A somewhat hysterical and weepy John confronts Crais, demonstrating that he has some after effects of being tortured on the Gammak base. John soon comes up with a plan to take out the Gammak Base and allow everyone to get away safely. The only problem is, it's a fairly suicidal plan, and the situation becomes further complicated when Crais kidnaps the baby Leviathan, Talyn.
Because Scorpius wants John more than he cares about the Gammak Base, their plan involves John and D'Argo flying a shuttle towards the Gammak Base, while it contains a large quantity of harmless materials that, when combined, explode. Before it arrives at the base, they jump out into open space, John in a suit, D'Argo without, since Luxans can survive in open space for a short time. Aeryn flies out in her Prowler to pick them up. The shuttle hits the base, blowing it up and setting the entire oil-covered moon on fire. But Aeryn can't get to John and D'Argo because there are too many PKs in the way. Moya, carrying Zhaan, Rygel, and Chiana, is forced to starburst without them. As Farscape's first season ends, Talyn and Crais are missing, D'Argo has fallen unconscious due to overexposure to open space, John is running out of air, and Aeryn is trapped.
