Family Bones

Family Bones is a comic book series written by Shawn Granger for King Tractor Press. According to Granger, the series is based on the true story of the oldest married couple on Missouri's death row, as experienced one summer by their unwitting nephew.
The protagonist, Sean, is shuttled from one family member to the next, finally landing at the farm owned by his elderly aunt and uncle, Ray and Faye Copeland. There, the city boy must quickly adapt to the rigors of farm life. Sean must also adjust to the emotional and physical abuse that Uncle Ray visits upon his wife and nephew.
Each book or chapter in the series is a different creative team, chosen for their ability to portray the tone of that chapter. It is released monthly.
