A Greek reality TV show best described as a mix between American Idol and The Real World in Greece. Contestants live in a house together and must go to classes to learn songs that they are assigned. The teachers in the "academy" are all respected individuals with long careers in music as are the judges. The songs are performed weekly in a 2.5-3 hour episode in which the contestants are judged. One contestant is voted off based on the number of votes received via phone or text message. The other 6 days of the week, the best clips of the day are put together in a nightly episode. Most season ran for 3 1/2 months except for season three which ran for 6 1/2 months. It appears on the ANT1 network. It is famous for having helped boost the career of Greek pop singer Kalomira.

Season Three: 1. Pericles, 2- Georgios Lanos, 3- Andreas Konstantinidis (Season Three had first, second and third place winners because the show lasted 6 1/2 months; all other seasons only lasted 3 1/2)

Season Four: Leonidas

Notable Contestants: Nino, Thanos Petrelis, Annette Artani (represented Cyprus at the 2006 Eurovision Song Contest in Athens).
