[edit] We don't need works in URDU
99.99% of the readers of this encyclopedia do not read Urdu. The link is completely useless. Furthermore, those of us who do not read Urdu can't even begin to judge the relevance or worth of the material you are so anxious to include. It is not prejudice to exclude your link. If you think I have some anti-Urdu bias, then go read the talk page for Rajput and see the Hindutva folk scream invective at me. Zora 07:45, 18 February 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Iqbal
Iqbal may be very dear to you, but it is not right to quote one poet at length and ignore the hundreds of poets, from dozens of other countries, who have written lyrics in praise of Muhammad. That is exalting Pakistan and Pakistan's poet above other countries and it is not fair or just. Zora 07:55, 18 February 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Saeed Rashid
No problem :-). Let me know if there's anything I can help you with.--Alhutch 08:49, 19 February 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Deletion review
I'm afraid I'm not quite sure what you mean. The article has not yet been deleted has it? could you link to the page you are talking about. thanks,--Alhutch 09:53, 19 February 2006 (UTC)
- I understand now. I moved it from the India category to the Pakistan category on that Wikiproject. It was just a matter of removing the link from the one category page and pasting it into the other one. looks to be all set now. let me know if there's anything else I can do.--Alhutch 10:06, 19 February 2006 (UTC)
- The vote on whether or not to keep the article will stay up for 7 days from when it was first listed. that's our policy as outlined on this page. I just voted keep, and it appears that the article will be kept, so I don't think there's anything to worry about. thanks, --Alhutch 04:03, 21 February 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Poetry article
You are determinined to post that Iqbal poetry, aren't you?
There is a place to post longer texts -- Wikisource. There might also be copyright problems. Isn't Iqbal still in copyright? That could be a problem for any English translations. Zora 03:50, 22 February 2006 (UTC)
- Fair use for research purposes could be argued to cover short citations, Falcon, but perhaps not whole poems. The poems would be public domain if published before 1925, at least in the U.S. However, any English translations might have their own copyrights, as translations. Zora 11:02, 22 February 2006 (UTC)
-
- I was careful to say that this applies to whole poems only. Are you citing bits of longer poems? In any case, you need to give references, so that readers can check the accuracy of our transcriptions. Zora 11:23, 22 February 2006 (UTC)
-
-
- One could indeed argue that he ISN'T the greatest poet and philosopher. That's your belief, not a fact accepted by all people. Suppose I think that Fazlur Rahman is the greatest philosopher?
-
Aagh. You seem to think that anyone who denies the supremacy of Iqbal is denying "fact", like denying the roundness of the earth. Judgments re the worth or value of something are inherently subjective; they can't be FACTS. It's as if you said, "The best food in the world is tandoori chicken; that's a fact", and insisted that anyone who liked saag paneer was denying "fact". Zora 15:05, 22 February 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Mohsin-ul-Mulk
I enjoyed reading your article. Well written. Please keep up your good work with contributions. -- Samir ∙ TC 08:17, 23 February 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Syed Ata Ullah Shah Bukhari to Attaullah shah bukhari at Saeed Rashid page
I reverted it. It was in wrong cat. --Spasage 08:54, 23 February 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Pakistani poets
Two more Pakistani poets have come up for deletion - Naz Khialvi and Kashif Latif. If you are interested in AfDs related to Pakistan, it may be useful to keep Wikipedia:WikiProject Deletion sorting/India in the watch list. Tintin (talk) 07:03, 24 February 2006 (UTC)
- In Wikipedia:WikiProject Deletion sorting/India, we try to cover the whole of the Indian subcontinent because people who read this page usually also knows about Pakistan, Bangladesh etc. So please let the Pakistan related links stay in that page and only *copy and not move* it to Wikipedia:WikiProject Deletion sorting/Pakistan.
- At the moment, nobody maintains (and I assume reads) Wikipedia:WikiProject Deletion sorting/Pakistan, so it would be a good thing if someone takes the initiative. Thanks, Tintin (talk) 13:08, 24 February 2006 (UTC)
-
- Thanks. Don't worry. You message could be interpreted in two ways, so I'll address both. We all work for the betterment of the project and the issue of nationality doesn't come into it (maybe a little for some very controversial topics, but certainly not for the kind of articles that appears for deletion). I can also assure you that while there are some 'deletionist wikipedians' (people who vote delete if they don't know the subject instead of abstaining from voting), but I don't know of any regular voter from this part of the world who is one.
-
- There is nothing like a wrong place as anyone can read anything anywhere and AfD entries are already listed in various pages like Wikipedia:Articles_for_deletion/Log/2006_February_23 and User:Dragons_flight/AFD_summary. Placing in Deletionsorting/India actually helps the case of a genuine article because it is likely to get valid comments than if it is not. Tintin (talk) 13:41, 24 February 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Request for edit summary
Hi. I am a bot, and I am writing to you with a request. I would like to ask you, if possible, to use edit summaries a bit more often when you contribute. The reason an edit summary is important is because it allows your fellow contributors to understand what you changed; you can think of it as the "Subject:" line in an email. For your information, your current edit summary usage is 25% for major edits and 14% for minor edits. (Based on the last 150 major and 150 minor edits in the article namespace.)
This is just a suggestion, and I hope that I did not appear impolite. You do not need to reply to this message, but if you would like to give me feedback, you can do so at the feedback page. Thank you, and happy edits, Mathbot 04:00, 27 February 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Pakistan Movement
I have created cat 'Pakistan movement' as per your suggestion. I think now we dont need 'Independence movement of Pakistan'. We can move articles from 'Independence movement of Pakistan' to 'Pakistan movement'. --Spasage 09:48, 28 February 2006 (UTC)
[edit] 3 revert rule warning
Please refrain from undoing other people's edits repeatedly. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia under the three-revert rule, which states that nobody may revert an article to a previous version more than three times in 24 hours. (Note: this also means editing the page to reinsert an old edit. If the effect of your actions is to revert back, it qualifies as a revert.) Thank you.. Consider it your final warning. Thanks. --Ragib 21:00, 7 March 2006 (UTC)
- Note: this is in reference to your continuous reverts to Pakistan. --Ragib 21:00, 7 March 2006 (UTC)
- Why are you disregarding it yourself? We can place it in RfC and see what other people say. --Falcon007 21:31, 7 March 2006 (UTC)
I have added the category of Former British Colonies to the United States article. To be fair I think we should add them to all former colonies. --a.n.o.n.y.m t 22:17, 7 March 2006 (UTC)
- For me this category is simiply a waste of resources. --Falcon007 22:21, 7 March 2006 (UTC)
- I think it might help some readers to know which ones are former colonies of Britain. --a.n.o.n.y.m t 22:24, 7 March 2006 (UTC)
-
- Okay I understand. Yes Pakistan itself was never a British colony. Have you discussed this on the talk page. --a.n.o.n.y.m t 22:31, 7 March 2006 (UTC)
-
- This is already in the discussion, moreover I am blocked from editing while others are not for the same offense. --Falcon007 22:34, 7 March 2006 (UTC)
-
-
- Well, In case you are referring to me, I didn't revert the article more than 3 times in the last 24 hours. In fact, my last edit before these reverts was in March 3. I also gave you a 3RR warning in due time, just so that you can't claim ignorance of it. I also added the same to others who violated 3RR. Thanks. --Ragib 22:45, 7 March 2006 (UTC)

- I have better things to do then to be a snitch. How could I even think to talk about you, you were the Holy Administrator. --Falcon007 22:55, 7 March 2006 (UTC)
-
- Even the guilty have previlages to atleast present their opinion. Here I see myself just watching people commenting on the issue on administartive forums and unable to defend myself in leaving the comments. Strange ... --Falcon007 22:55, 7 March 2006 (UTC)
- I also remind you that No personal attacks is another wikipedia policy, and calling others names won't do you any favor. I suggest you calm down, and would return to editings once your block is over. Thanks. --Ragib 23:06, 7 March 2006 (UTC)
-
I am done with you Ragib, don't want to discuss anyting further with you. Thanks --Falcon007 23:10, 7 March 2006 (UTC)

- A note of regret
- This is in reference to our above mentioned unfortunate discussion which took place a few days ago regarding a small category. I have reviewed myself and think that there were few things which were totally inappropriate on my part to say. I really regret saying them. I admire your contribution to different topics, and hope that we forget that misunderstaning and have no hard feelings, Thanks --Falcon007 13:43, 12 March 2006 (UTC)

[edit] 3RR violation
Hi, you violated WP:3RR at Pakistan. I have blocked you for 24 hours. Please feel free to return after your block expires, but take your differences to the talk page instead of engaging in pointless revert warring. Cheers, —Ruud 22:12, 7 March 2006 (UTC)
- Thanks, it would have been much better if you would have read the discussion first --Falcon007 22:17, 7 March 2006 (UTC)
-
- I don't care who is right or wrong here, all that matters is that you violated 3RR. —Ruud 22:19, 7 March 2006 (UTC)
-
- Oh, in the same spirit of self righteousness, check who else has done the same. --Falcon007 22:24, 7 March 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Pakistan: A British colony?
No country by the name of Pakistan existed before 14th August, 1947. As a nation we have never been a colony of anyone. The case is different with other countries which claimed independence but were still under occupation. If people insist on this category why not they make a category Former Japanese colonies and include China in it. I simply disagree with this on the principle that such categories should not be on the main page. If some one still insists, he can make a list and inculde it in the history sections. I am sure if the same trend continues everyone would be a colony of everyone else. Is this fair? --Falcon007 23:51, 7 March 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Books by Muhammad Iqbal
You are doing great job in bring Iqbal's work to the readers of wikipedia. You have recently added new cat Books by Muhammad Iqbal. Keeping in view Iqbals's naming convention, name should be Books by Iqbal. What you think? --Spasage 06:35, 11 March 2006 (UTC)
- Thanks, I actually tried to follow the convention at Philosophers. Its perfectly fine with me but I suggest that if possible we should give it a little time. Thanks --Falcon007 06:42, 11 March 2006 (UTC)
- Sorry it was Philosophy books --Falcon007 06:44, 11 March 2006 (UTC)
- I agree with you, lets change it. --Falcon007 06:47, 11 March 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Re: A matter of regret
Hi, The feeling is mutual. I looked into your extensive work on Iqbal, and you are doing a very good job. Disagreements occur, and people do things at the spur of the moment, but lets leave those things behind us. Keep up your good work. I wish you all the best. Thanks. --Ragib 15:37, 12 March 2006 (UTC)
- Thanks, and Best of Luck to you too --Falcon007 15:46, 12 March 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Aligarh
You are adding some universities in Aligarh. What is the link between unis and Aligarh? --Spasage 06:41, 13 March 2006 (UTC)
- I thaught it would be nice to see them as a part of legacy of Sir Syed. Category Aligarh would be a general cat for Aligarh University, movement, alumni, and some institutions. --Falcon007 06:46, 13 March 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Abdul Qayyum Khan
Please note that the postage stamp is for Sir Sahibzada Abdul Qayyum (1866 - December 4, 1937) who served briefly as the first Chief Minister of the NWFP and should not be confused with Abdul Qayyum Khan (1901 - 1981) who was Chief Minister from 1947 - 1953. The two are not even related, though the constituencies they represented in the legislative assemblies are the same, separated by a time lag of 30 years! Sahibzada Qayyum was from Kotha in Swabi, while Qayyum Khan was of Kashmiri origin and lived mostly in Peshawar. Please note that the postage stamp also says Sahibzada Qayyum.
I am writing an article on Sahibzada Sahib, so please feel free to add the stamp image to that page.
Zain Sadullah
- AOA, Thanks for this, it was certainly a mistake. Now the pic is in Pakistani public domain photographs when you finish the article it can be linked from this list. Please for the reference there is a good site Sir Sahibzada Abdul Qayyum at Pioneers of freedom having also some information. Thanks again --Falcon007 11:19, 15 March 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Muhammad Iqbal
It wasn't clear to me why you thought that the new version was an improvement, but it included a number of changes from good wikilinks to bad (see, for example, the links to languages; there's no article English, as you changed [[English language|English]] to). --Mel Etitis (Μελ Ετητης) 08:46, 21 March 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Wikipedia:Wikiethics
Hi,
We started a proposal Wikipedia:Wikiethics to state the existing policies coherently and make suggestions on improving the editorial standards in Wiki. I thought you might be interested in contributing to that proposal.
Unfortunately, a pro-porn and pro-offense lobby is trying to make this proposal a failure. They unilaterally started an approval poll although almost no one including me believe that it is time for a vote, simply because the policy is not ready. It is not even written completely.
Editors who thinks that the policy needs to be improved rather than killed by an unfair poll at the beginning of the proposal, started another poll ('Do we really need a poll at this stage?') at the same time. The poll is vandalized for a while but it is stable now. A NO vote on this ('Do we really need a poll now?') poll will strengthen the position of the editors who are willing to improve the ethics policy further.
If you have concerns about the ethics and editorial standards in Wiki, please visit the page Wikipedia:Wikiethics with your suggestions on the policy. We have two subpages: Arguments and Sections. You might want to consider reviewing these pages as well...
Thanks in advance. Resid Gulerdem 21:38, 22 March 2006 (UTC)
- Thanks for your message, Actually I am relatively a new user and have so far restricted myself to some pages. It would certainly recquire some time to cosider the policy matters of Wikipedia. I will hopefully look into it and see what can we do. Thanks --Falcon007 22:10, 22 March 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Image:Kaaba1.jpg
I have read the license terms at http://www.toursaudiarabia.com/images/kaaba-4.html. They are very clear: the image is licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution-Noncommercial-Sharealike license version 2.0. This is not a license that allows use on Wikipedia: images uploaded to Wikipedia after May 19, 2005 must permit commercial use. --Carnildo 22:15, 22 March 2006 (UTC)
- Its fine but it would have been much appropriate if you would have replaced the pic with a fair one, than merely concentrating on deleting the images and related material. --Falcon007 22:22, 22 March 2006 (UTC)
-
- Normally when removing an image from a userbox, I replace it with a free image or an appropriate letter, but in this case, I don't know what letter to use, and I don't know of any free images that wouldn't result in a death sentence from conservative Islamic clerics. --Carnildo 22:30, 22 March 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Wikipedia:WikiProject History of Pakistan
I have started History of Pakistan project. It combines all the events which occured before partition. As you are working in this area, join this project and encourage others to do the same. You can also contribute in article Karachi, which is good article nominee. --Spasage 06:22, 8 April 2006 (UTC)
- Thanks, and nice work ... I wish I could be as active as I used to but currently I am little pressed for time. Hopefully I would try to contribute as much as possible. Thanks --Falcon007 20:19, 16 April 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Need your Help
I need support in editing the page for Ahmed Omar Saeed Sheikh from Pakistani-Wikipedians. The page concludes Pakistans link to 9/11 using information from Indian press and much information in that page is without proper references. The page says that ISI gives money to Ahmed Omar Saeed Sheikh and Sheikh then wired the money to Atta. I have checked some of the references on that page and information in the references is different from what is mentioned in it. I will appreciate any help because I have very less free time these days... Faisal 16:57, 10 April 2006 (UTC)
- Thanks for mentioning this, actually I hardly come to wikipedia these days due to time constraints. --Falcon007 20:19, 16 April 2006 (UTC)
[edit] List of Pakistan-related topics
Hello. Could you help in populating List of Pakistan-related topics. Thanks. Pepsidrinka 23:34, 12 April 2006 (UTC)
- Thanks, I will hopefully try to do what I can, I am actually taking a break from wikipedia due to time constraints. --Falcon007 20:19, 16 April 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Hindi-Urdu controversy of 1876
First of all I have renamed the page, and secondly, I am aghast by your style of writing--this is not the way to write an article, and thirdly, please don't write naïvish articles. You write things only half-half, with partial info and create disastrous articles, spreading misinformation. Cygnus_hansa 13:27, 14 April 2006 (UTC)
- The renaming was unnecessary as it happened in 1867 and not in 1876. Secondly, I only created this article and posted info from an existing article, as the origional article Sir Syed was becoming too long, and so that more things could be added. I even didn't alter the last sentence which was obviously offensive to me. Anyway, I have now provided some additional citations for refference and fixed the article name. --Falcon007 20:49, 16 April 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Plagiarism
Salam. Your article, Altaf Husain, was an utter and total plagiarism. I have removed the article, and put one line. If you choose to re-write the article, please do so.--Le Grey Intellectual 16:13, 15 April 2006 (UTC)
EDIT: I've found another plagiarism, Mohsin-ul-Mulk. How many articles have you plagiarised? This is simply disgusting.--Le Grey Intellectual 16:42, 15 April 2006 (UTC)
EDIT 2: Yet another plagiarism, Viqar-ul-Mulk. Agh. I am editing all the plagiarisms you have posted in order to make them proper articles. --Le Grey Intellectual 16:50, 15 April 2006 (UTC)
- Its good to see a fine journalist in making, who is already harassing people :-). Anyway, let me try to remove some of your concerns. In any piece of knowledge its not considered plagiarism to add excepts, and give relevent citations. If this would have been the case no education was possible as people would be terrified to mention any info. When I add some article I usually try to add citations if it has an except from another article and this conforms to the norm. Fot Altaf Husain article I did present the referrence. Similarly, I mentioned in links the referrences for the last two articles you talked about. These were some of the earliest of articles I added and I put them as templates to be worked on. I hope you would excuse me from the criminal charges. Thanks for mentioning this to me, and I wish you best of luck for your studies and future profession. --Falcon007 21:22, 16 April 2006 (UTC)
I have deleted the article Altaf Husain again. Falcon, you cannot cpoy something from womehere and post it here, whether you provide the link of not. It cannot be original work, but it cannot be copied eitherYou're meant totake the information, and rewrite it in your own words. --Le Grey Intellectual 13:53, 30 April 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Jinnah PR
Hi Falcon007 - I need your help and advice in making Muhammad Ali Jinnah an FA. Please join the Wikipedia:Peer review/Muhammad Ali Jinnah. Rama's Arrow 17:24, 16 April 2006 (UTC)
- Thanks and good to see this work in progress. I wish I could spend some time here on wikipedia these days but its difficult due to few things. I would hopefully contribute as much as possible. Thanks again. --Falcon007 20:19, 16 April 2006 (UTC)
[edit] I Need your help
I know you have very less time these days but still I am posting this. See... The concept of Muslim being brother (all for one, one for all) is not a new concept. We being Muslims believe in Khilafat, the concept created by Muhammad (PBUH) and that concept was not created in 1900 as described in the articles with names Pan-Islamism and Muslim Unity. I wish if you can help in doing major modification in Pan-Islamism and Muslim Unity articles. I do not know that what the need of these articles is when a good article of Khilafat already exists. I will really appreciate you help. --- Faisal 21:00, 25 April 2006 (UTC)
Hi Falcon007,
I was wondering if you have seen the following page, its a place where alot of people work as a team to progress and work together on articles and images of Wikipedia.
The Pakistani community for sometime has been very dormant, as there were not many people here to write articles related to Pakistan. If you go the following "Project page" you will see a new community has been formed, where I think alot of us should asign tasks and work more as a community than individually. Here's the link;
Wikipedia:Notice board for Pakistan-related topics. Do take a look at all the other communities the way they are working to improve articles and promote their communities.
I think its about time we all do the same. As you may notice everthing is just been laid out, so now its our turn to fill the gaps. Do pass the word on to other Pakistanis and people working on Pakistani articles.
Many thanks, Fast track 08 May 2006 (UTC)
[edit] great stuff
keep up the good work --digitalSurgeon 23:32, 10 July 2006 (UTC)

[edit] India
What do you think of India since your Pakistani? Eiyuu Kou 20:50, 7 December 2006 (UTC)
- I think of India all the best and hope that this region would provide an example to the world community of peace and progress. --Falcon007 00:03, 8 December 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Javed Iqbal (serial killer)
I've added the "{{prod}}" template to the article Javed Iqbal (serial killer), suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but I don't believe it satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and I've explained why in the deletion notice (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). Please either work to improve the article if the topic is worthy of inclusion in Wikipedia, or, if you disagree with the notice, discuss the issues at Talk:Javed Iqbal (serial killer). You may remove the deletion notice, and the article will not be deleted, but note that it may still be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached, or if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria. TheRingess 22:28, 12 December 2006 (UTC)
- I think its worth deletion :) --Falcon007 07:21, 13 December 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Your post on my talk page
Thanks for posting on my talk page. I noticed, by using VP, you removed one of the comments on this talk page. I only needed to revert one edit, not two, but VP reverts all of them by default. I agree that the other user you mentioned on my talk page should not have removed his own comment, and I've reverted that and posted a warning (3RR). Cheers. Insanephantom(my Editor Review) 03:11, 13 January 2007 (UTC)
-
- Thanks a lot. --Falcon007 03:14, 13 January 2007 (UTC)
Just wanted to share a small conversation which I had on User talk:FeloniousMonk page:
- It appears to be a commercial site; links were spammed to a dozen or so articles. It's iffy as an external link - looks like someone using Wikipedia to make money. Guettarda 21:37, 12 January 2007 (UTC)
- I added these "Video Library" links as I found this site to be the best free online video resource on intelligent design. Its free and non-commercial. I don't see any reason for their deletion. I have included them again and excpect that we respect each other's contribution. --Falcon007 00:52, 13 January 2007 (UTC)
- Moreover, I don't see any video or media resource links on main wikipedia intelligent design sites which would organize these resources for both sides. Being an economist I occasionaly add media links to different sites and have never seen any problem. --Falcon007 01:16, 13 January 2007 (UTC)
And after that all my edits were deleted. --Falcon007 04:38, 13 January 2007 (UTC)
- Hello Falcon. This is regarding this user talk page User talk:Guettarda. According to Chacor, the message you added (the section) 'Not a playground' was considered trolling. I haven't checked your edits yet, and I won't say your edits are right or wrong until I've checked them properly, but this has lead to a dispute because of my mistake of using the {{3RR}} warning, which was somehow considered insulting, and I hope to settle this dispute soon. Insanephantom(my Editor Review) 05:36, 13 January 2007 (UTC)
-
- In the above mentioned reference I have already given you an idea what was the cause. You can follow the link and see the discussion. After that he posted his comment titled 'Spamming', which I consider outrageous. He has already deleted my links, and I was consdering this matter over but then he deleted my comments on his talk page. Please follow the talk above to see whats going on. I find it simply unexceptable if he put comments on my page and delete on his. --Falcon007 05:52, 13 January 2007 (UTC)
-
-
- Okay, I have checked your contributions. I think you're right to say the links are not commercial, but I think what it means it that it still doesn't make it appropriate to use them. I understand that this is quite frustrating to have your links deleted and a post on here saying you're spamming, but Wikipedia does have a policy on external links. Perhaps it just appears to look commercial. Insanephantom(my Editor Review) 06:00, 13 January 2007 (UTC)
-

- I am myself not a new wikipedia user and I am fully aware of its policies. These links were by no means 'commercial'. And when I write comments why didn't he first respond to me before deleting them. Then he accused me of Spamming. I have repeatidly said that I don't want to continue this discussion. He has already deleted my links and I didn't even want to put them back. But deleing the conversation from his talk page is simiply not acceptable. Anyway, I think its over. Some people assume that some sites are their own and no one has the right to do anything on it. Its not a mature behavior. --Falcon007 06:15, 13 January 2007 (UTC)

- You're new enough, and I question your knowledge of policies. In any case, and site that prominently states "PURCHASE HERE", no matter what lame excuse Falcon gives for the inclusion of that message, is clearly commercial. •Jim62sch• 09:52, 13 January 2007 (UTC)

- I don't have time to waste it on blogs, for me this matter is over. Think and do as you like. --Falcon007 13:38, 13 January 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Re: A small request
Well it's better, but please look at the fairly new Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline, there are still a few points your rationale should be adressing.
As for images sourced from various free hosting sites that is not rely very helpfull. The source is supposed to tell us who the copyright holder is. Just pointing to some random website that happens to host is doesn't rely do that. Doesn't hurt to say that it was found on some Geocities or Tripod site naturaly, but we need to know who actualy created it in the first place (and preverably also when, especialy if claiming PD due to age). --Sherool (talk) 17:30, 24 January 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Orphaned fair use image (Image:Nishan-e-Haider.gif)
Thanks for uploading Image:Nishan-e-Haider.gif. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable under fair use (see our fair use policy).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you.
