Does anyone else think that most of this belongs on the Falkirk (district) page? miterdale 12:34, 7 Jul 2004 (UTC)

does anyone else think this sounds like it was written by the council? a popular place to visit? unless it's changed massively since i last visited, Falkirk is a town in dire straits. collapse of industry, supermarket upon shoppng centre being built right in the heart of the town centre, it's delapidated to say the least. while the falkirk wheel is a new postitive tourist attraction its not exactly in the town. tourist destination falkirk is not. —This unsigned comment was added by 88.107.154.43 (talk • contribs) .

I agree with both posts above, the article sounds strangely biased and most of the page should belong on the Falkirk (council area) page. Perhaps that page should be expanded and the Falkirk page simplified. Johnx4 16:43, 05 January 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Falkirk Battles.

The history section here, especially the accounts of the two battles of Falkirk, was unbelievably dire. I have been as merciful as possible, limiting my editing to show that the battles took place, weeding out the dreadfully inaccurate descriptions. Fuller accounts of these battles can be read in the respective pages. Rcpaterson 04:25, 11 June 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Shopping

Is there really any need for the level of detail recently added to the article, this is an encyclopedia not a directory. Fraslet 17:22, 22 February 2007 (UTC)
