"False Pretense" is the second single from the album Don't You Fake It by The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus. While on Fuse's Amp'd Guide to the Holidays special, Elias Reidy made a comment that it was about stabbing a friend in the back, and betrayal.
The music video shows masked figures who are later identified as the other band members who kill Ronnie for a mysterious woman in a red dress. She is later seen paying the band members for doing her dirty work. The video was directed by Shane Drake.
