Fallen Angels (band)

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Fallen Angels was the heavy band considered to be the prelude to the hit band Megadeth.

Fallen Angels was formed in early 1983 by Dave Mustaine and guitarist Robert Cromwell. The two met via an ad in The Recycler magazine. They would play often, creating new metal riffs on guitar and exchanging musical ideas. They disbanded later in 1983 when Dave formed Megadeth. Mustaine credits Fallen Angels as "...a beginning stage of Megadeth and a very productive or influential one at that (Mustaine)". [1]
