The Fallbach originates near Gramart area on the Hungerburg on 900 m above Sea-Level. It runs straight in southern direction to St. Nikolaus where it merges with the Inn River. It has a length of 7 km and lies in full on Innsbruck city area.

The Creek possesses A grade quality and provides 2 constructed reservoirs with drinking water, which is collected and supplies the area around St. Nikolaus and Höhenstraße with water.

It often happens that due to the usages the Creek has little water sometimes.
