Falcon City of Wonders
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The Falcon City of Wonders is a project to build a city in Dubai with replicas of the seven wonders of the world plus modern wonders such as the Eiffel tower and Taj Mahal. The project is led by Falcon City of Wonders Company, owned by local businessman Salem al Moosa. The estimated cost of the project is $1.5-billion.
When viewed from space, the city will form the shape of a falcon. The Eiffel Tower will be recreated into a hotel with glass in the space between the metal structure. It will also be taller than the original Eiffel Tower and be named "Dubai Eiffel Tower".
The original concept was developed by the CEO under the guidance and visions set forth by H.H Sheikh Mohammed Almaktoum. The concept was later imitated by a fradulent company that was ultimately investigated and shut down by the government. Falcon City is now well underway and construction has already started.
