Talk:Fakhruddin 'Iraqi
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The article's original editor said 'Iraqi's birthdate was 610/1213, which I took to mean June 10, 1213. I could be wrong. --Diberri | Talk 18:32, Aug 27, 2004 (UTC)
- Good guess, but it's the year A.H. which means... after Hijra. since Hijra took place in 622 and the Islamic (lunar) year is about 11 days shorter than the solar year it seems like it's a good fit. I'm not sure and probably should calculate it but it seems unlikely to presume it is the day. gren グレン ? 23:44, 11 February 2006 (UTC)
