Perhaps a bit late, but I went to Flagami Elementary School located near 8th Ave. & 77th Ave from '74-80 so here's some insight: (1) There is a neighborhood known as Fairlawn. It is located just East of the area known as Flagami. (2) There is(or I know at least was) a library and elementary school known as Fairlawn. (3) Is this area more "white" (non-hispanic) than surrounding areas ? I know that was the "reputation" back when I went to school. But is it backed by facts or even true today ? I haven't lived in Miami-Dade for years, but on visits in the past decade or so, it doesn't appear that area is much "whiter."

I am only an occasional wikipedia contributor and am not the expert on what is encyclopedic (I occasionally get smacked for introducing non-essential things), so I just thought I'd introduce what I know and let someone else decide. Jcam 15:02, 6 September 2006 (UTC)
