[edit] why
for what reason would such a suggested move be made? This seems to be what a disambiguation page is for. Hmains 02:55, 1 December 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Fairchild (disambiguation) to Fairchild
This move is confused. In the requested moves, the request is to move 'Fairchild [disambiguation)' to 'Fairchild', but the 'discuss' points to this non-relevant talk page. Regarding the requested move as written, I say: for what reason would such a suggested move be made? This seems to be what a disambiguation page is for. Hmains 17:27, 1 December 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Requested move
Fairchild (disambiguation) → Fairchild — as said above by Hmains. -- Gh87 18:52, 1 December 2006 (UTC)

- Support. No meaning dominates, so the disambig should be at the unqualified name. Andrewa 09:07, 8 December 2006 (UTC)

- Comment Hmains seems to be opposing the move (thinking it unneccesary), not supporting it. -- Beardo 07:48, 4 December 2006 (UTC)
