In the article is said:

it was adopted upon independence in 1967

but the independence was on 1981... so something is wrong. --Viktor 13:20, 3 August 2005 (UTC)

I believe that the mistake is in the island's history, not in the anthem's description. Antigua and Barbuda became an 'associated state' to the Crown of England in 1967, before attaining independence in 1981 [1]. I believe this explains the apparent incoherence. Taragui 14:23, August 3, 2005 (UTC)

Hi, this page seems to be missing this verse. I'm not sure if it's the correct first verse, or if it's an extra verse that ought to be somewhere else.

Fair Antigua, we salute thee! Proudly we this anthem raise To thy glory and thy beauty, Joyfully we sing the praise Of the virtues, all bestowed On thy sons and daughters free; Ever striving, ever seeking, Dwell in love and unity.
