Faith Wolper is a fictional character on the television series Nip/Tuck. She is played by actress Brooke Shields.
She was Christian Troy's therapist in the beginning of Season 4 and was the one to push him into his identity crisis as to whether he was in love with Sean. During the session that followed Faith and Christian had sex on her desk. She then came to the McNamara/Troy practice to have a lower back tattoo removed and revealed that she was a sexaholic. She replaced her tattoo by one that read "property of Christian Troy".
She has fallen for Christian and manipulatively tries to do everything she can to get at him. She told Burt Landau of Christian's affair with his wife Michelle and also told Sean about Christian's gay dream.
[edit] Trivia
- Faith Wolper was originally supposed to be a one episode character (4x01), but the producer liked Shields' performance so much that they wrote her a few more episodes (4x07, 4x12).
