Faith Community Baptist Church (Singapore)

Faith Community Baptist Church, or FCBC, was founded by Apostle Lawrence Khong and is one of the three "megachurches" in Singapore. The other two are New Creation Church and City Harvest Church.

FCBC claims a membership of about 10,000 men, women and children, and its weekly services have about 10,000 attenders. The church is currently a 'G12 cell church' which follows the G12 vision by César Castellanos. The English service is held at 9 a.m, Mandarin at 11.15 a.m, and Youth at 1.30 p.m at the MAX pavillon, with concurrent children's services for minors aged 2-12. While FCBC originally started as a Baptist church, but in recent years, Charismatic influences have surfaced in the church.
FCBC also has a media branch that produces various wholesome movies and stage productions that teach values and Christianity. The company has made headway in the Asian entertainment industry and is now breaking into the American market. Its flagship show, The Magic of Love, recently finished a successful tour in the United States.[citation needed]
FCBC also has a community arm, TOUCH Community Services (TCS). TCS serves the local community in Singapore in a variety of ways, including providing various services and help to troubled youth, children, senior citizens, the mentally challenged, visually challenged, physically disabled, family services and in character development. TCS also has an international arm, TOUCH Community Services International, that provides aid and relief to disaster spots and areas that need help around the world. TCSI also supports long-term involvement in global communities and is deeply involved in the rebuilding process in the tsunami stricken areas and others. TCS is a non-profit, non-religious community organization.

Being a G12 church, FCBC is led by Apostle Lawrence Khong and Rev Nina Khong. Lawrence is the head of the Men’s Network, whereas Rev Nina heads the Women’s Network. There are 12 pastors in each network. In the Men’s Network, Apostle Lawrence is assisted by the following Pastors:

- 1986 - FCBC was founded by the Reverend Lawrence Khong.
- 1988 - FCBC became a cell church and began to rapidly increase in attendance.
- 1992 - FCBC set up TOUCH Community Services (TCS) , its social welfare arm, established to provide community-based services to strengthen the family and develop the individual
- 1993 - TOUCHCENTRE, FCBC's first celebration centre with a seating capacity of 1,600 was opened in Marine Parade Central
- 1997 - TOUCH Community Theatre (TCT), loacted in Jalan Bukit Merah, was inaugurated as a second worship centre with a direct video-conferencing link to TOUCHCENTRE. Services occurred concurrently, with one centre receiving a video link from the other centre.
- 2000 - Reverend Lawrence Khong was commissioned as an Apostle by Dr. Peter Wagner of the International Coalition of Apostles. FCBC also began its first foray into the media industry in this year.
- 2001 - The Magic of Love, the world's first Magic-musical, was launched. It has since performed in cities worldwide.
- 2002 - FCBC embraced the G12 Vision which was revealed to Pastor César Castellanos Dominguez, the founder of MCI in Columbia, and Apostle Khong became one of Pastor César's International Twelve (Disciples).
- 2005 - FCBC moved to The MAX Pavilon at the Singapore EXPO for its English, Mandarin, Youth, Deaf and Children's ministries. The services for the Intellectually Disabled, Hokkien and Filipino ministres are located at TOUCHCENTRE on Saturdays and Sundays.
