Faisalabad District

Faisalabad District is one of the districts of Punjab, Punjab, , Pakistan. It had a population of 5,429,547 of which almost 42% were urban in 1998. [1]

As of 2006 it is a city district consisting of the city of Faisalabad. In 1982 Toba Tek Singh District was carved out. It was part of Faisalabad Division.
