The song Fairy Tale (or Tong Hua in romanized Mandarin) is a very well-known song among people who listen to Mandarin songs. Its music video starts off with Guang Liang appearing on stage and sitting down at a piano. The audience claps for him and waits as he presses a few buttons on his cell phone and lays it on the piano. As he begins to play the piano, a girl lying in a hospital bed smiles upon hearing it. There are many flashbacks, one of which is particularly important. Guang Liang and the girl are watching a Japanese movie, and the girl is sobbing on his shoulder. She displays her usual attitude, asking him what he's staring at, but she pauses. They kiss, but when they pull away her nose is bleeding and some of it has gotten onto Guang Liang's face. All she does is laugh and wipe it off for him. The next few flashbacks show Guang Liang bringing her to the hospital. At the end, as Guang Liang finishes the song, she closes her eyes and passes away. Her voice says "When the whole world ignored me, only you couldn't leave me alone."
There has been debate over whether or not Fairy Tale was based on a true story. Some rumors state that the song is dedicated to a girlfriend or sister who died from a terminal illness.
