Timmy keeps having to deal with Remy Buxaplenty, a snotty rich kid he always runs into during the day. Remy even appears in the Crimson Chin comic book! Timmy follows Remy to his home, and notices that he has a fairy godparent. Wanda tells Timmy that Remy's fairy is her ex-boyfriend, Juandissimo Magnifico. Remy then challenges Timmy to a Magical Duel to determine who gets to keep their fairies, and they are pitted against each other. Timmy eventually wins, and Remy gets sent to a remote island to spend time with his parents.
[edit] "Nectar of the Odds"
Timmy sells lemonade in order to buy tickets for "Crash Nebula on Ice", but it tastes terrible. However, when Cosmo dunks his sweaty socks in the lemonade, it becomes the tastiest lemonade ever... and it starts granting people's wishes.
[edit] Trivia
- The episode features the first appearance of Remy Buxaplenty, a snotty rich kid, and Juandissimo Magnifico, Wanda's ex-boyfriend. Remy wouldn't appear again up until about the fifth season, during which time he was the only other kid on the show to have fairy godparents. Meanwhile, Juandissimo would become a recurring character, always vieing for Wanda's affections.
- Remy's parents are quite similar to Timmy's parents in the Oh Yeah! Cartoons shorts, considering that you never see their faces.
- The Magical Duel in the episode is similar to the famous one in the 1963 Walt Disney film The Sword in the Stone, particularly the third part, where Timmy and Remy have to turn themselves into animals to win.
- In the first part of the magical duel, when a fairy has to save their godchild from the ape, the ape is shown throwing barrels at the godparents on a series of platforms, a reference to the Donkey Kong arcade game. Also, Timmy turns himself into a two-headed crab, a reference to the arcade game Mario Bros.
- In real life, Timmy wouldn't be able to see the Crash Nebula Movie because if you look closely at the movie poster, you can see the movie is Rated R. Timmy's parents barely pay attention to him so they might not have cared, or maybe he told his parents he was going somewhere besides the movie.
- For unexplained reasons, Chester is wearing headgear at the beginning of the episode.
- "Sexy" Is used in the episode
