Fairlight Cove is a small village on the East Sussex coast approximately 3 miles east of Hastings. The village suffers from coastal erosion which has threatened a number of properties directly on the cliff edge. The exposed soft rocks on the beach contain fossil deposits which may be exposed by the tide.
