Fairlawn, Washington, D.C.

Fairlawn is a residential neighborhood located in southeast Washington, D.C. It is bounded by Interstate 295 to the northwest, Pennsylvania Avenue SE to the northeast, Good Hope Road to the southwest, and Minnesota Avenue to the southeast. It is located directly across I-295 from Poplar Point, a waterfront park on the Anacostia River that is to be host to a new Major League Soccer stadium. Also see article on Anacostia.
