From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
FAIA is an acronym used as a postnomial, designating an individual who is a Fellow of the American Institute of Architects. A Fellow of the Institute is regarded by peers as among one of the finest architects in the country, and it is one of the highest honors an American architect can receive. Additionally, Honorary Fellowships are available for architects who are citizens of nations other than the United States and for non-architects who have made great contributions to architecture or the Institute.
