A request for mediation has been filed with the Mediation Committee that lists you as a party. The Mediation Committee requires that all parties listed in a mediation must be notified of the mediation. Please review the request at Wikipedia:Requests for mediation/X-Men: The Last Stand, and indicate whether you agree or refuse to mediate. If you are unfamiliar with mediation, please refer to Wikipedia:Mediation. There are only seven days for everyone to agree, so please check as soon as possible..

[edit] Jean Grey
Thank you, thank you, thank you! for your comments and evidence on the whole "Jean, not Phoenix" thing! Exactly my thinking and the article is called "Jean Grey," not "Phoenix!" Joeyconnick 04:16, 18 May 2006 (UTC)

[edit] X-Men: The Last Stand
Please point out to me one instance where I have inserted NPPOV. Making unfounded accusations is regarded as inciviliity, if we're talking blockable offenses.
I would ask that you read Wikipedia:WikiProject_Films#Article_body:
-
- The second paragraph should be a brief look at the film's impact: whether critics liked the film or not (and why), whether it was a commercial success or not, and whether any sequels to or remakes of the film were produced. … Expanding on the second paragraph of the lead section, you should analyse how the film was received by critics, meaning professional or well-known film reviewers, and not comments from members of the public (for example, quotes from users of Amazon.com and the Internet Movie Database do not count).
Adding critics' verbatim quotes is not NPOV. It follows WikiProject Films guidelines. If you'd like to take this to mediation, please do me the courtesy of telling me now. I'd be happy to. -- Tenebrae 20:54, 30 May 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Formal notification of arbitration
I'm sorry you feel that respected reviewers including Variety and the Hollywood reporter, along with a British critic and a critic who was also a comics writer, constitutes bias. I'm requesting arbitration and reporting your incivility. -- Tenebrae 02:47, 31 May 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Formal notification of mediation
My apology for having typed the wrong word above initially. Subhead reads properly with term "mediation". Please do not post unsigned comments on my Talk page. My History page indicates who posts, so I know it was you. Mediation request is in. -- Tenebrae 03:25, 31 May 2006 (UTC)
- I signed all my comments. Stop your lies.

- After my posting below, I noticed your inexcuseably calling me a liar. You did not sign the post entered 02:55, 31 May 2006. -- Tenebrae 16:59, 31 May 2006 (UTC)
Do you have eyes? I signed that post, so stop lying through your teeth.Facto 18:04, 31 May 2006 (UTC)

That was signed in the line directly ABOVE it. I am afraid you are suffering from tunnel vision. Also, you edited my comments on your talk page to appear as if I didn't sign it by indenting my comments. Please refrain from editing my comments to support your lies and accusations. That is considered vandalism and I may have to report you if you do not revert the bad edit. Thanks. Facto 18:34, 31 May 2006 (UTC)
-
- Oh, please stop your threats. You sign in the middle of a post???
- Report whatever you wish, with proper notification. Your documented incivility, threats and insults will be an issue. -- Tenebrae 21:32, 31 May 2006 (UTC)
It is called a postscript. You are one being uncivil, and I have more than enough documentation and examples. I'm waiting for an apology, and if you're not going to give one then stop commenting here. Facto 21:38, 31 May 2006 (UTC)
There's a very good reason why Post Scripts start with a P.S. when they are used. Using Post Scripts in a format such as Wikipedia seems inadvisable. ChrisLawson 15:10, 7 June 2006 (UTC)
-
- PS is not necessary. Who are you by the way? --Facto 17:00, 7 June 2006 (UTC)
- P.S. is not necessary in the same way capital letters and punctuation are not necessary. People will still know what you're up to (except in Wiki format, where adding a Post Script after your 4 ~ is a sure way to confuse people - think about this!), but you're not making it easy for them. ChrisLawson 20:39, 14 June 2006 (UTC)
- PS is not necessary. Who are you by the way? --Facto 17:00, 7 June 2006 (UTC)
[edit] New York Times
The New York Times did not give the film a positive review; its encapsulation was "generically serviceable". To say the Times gave it a positive review and then not quoting from what was clearly not is dishonest. You are letting your bias toward the film color any comment that doesn't agree with your view, and then you have the gall to call others NPOV and to make threats. I'm looking forward to mediation. -- Tenebrae 03:32, 31 May 2006 (UTC)
- I did not post the New York Times review. Can you stop with your delusions?
Facto 03:44, 31 May 2006 (UTC)
-
- I made an assumption, for which I apologize. I'm afraid, judging from your temper and the incivility you've shown thus far, that you will not do the same for your intemperate remark about "delusions". Assuming you're old enough to know the word's dictionary definition, I'd have to conclude you are being deliberately insulting. That is wrong in and of itself, it demeans the speaker, and it goes against Wikipedia policity of civility, which I have been upholding in the face of your continued taunts and sarcasm. I suggest we refrain from comment except through the mediation request that already is in. -- Tenebrae 16:56, 31 May 2006 (UTC)
If you want to "refrain from comment" then stop posting and lying on my talk page. Facto 18:05, 31 May 2006 (UTC)

- Please stop the accusations of "lying", which compels me to reply.-- Tenebrae 18:26, 31 May 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Last Stand
You have your name in 3 different responses for that pole. You should pick one answer so that the count can be more accurate. Bignole 23:14, 31 May 2006 (UTC)
- Hey Bignole, I would be happy with any of the 3 choices. But I think I'd prefer deletion.Facto 23:19, 31 May 2006 (UTC)
[edit] X-Men 3
Vaughn cast Kelsey Grammer and Vinnie Jones; says so right on the page. And guidelines says that while Trivia sections aren't necessarily disregarded, such material should be worked into the body of the article where appropriate. And the section about the movie production is the ideal place for this info. WesleyDodds 09:09, 2 June 2006 (UTC)

I didn't remove anything that I'm aware of. I added two comments to User:Facto's 3RR request since it contained inaccuracies. Please let me know what you think I removed and Ill fix whatever I might have done inadvertently. Thanks. -- Tenebrae 12:28, 2 June 2006 (UTC)

This is one reversion User:Facto of a disputed section awaiting mediation:
- Revision as of 19:54, 2 June 2006
I'm returning it to Critical reception to its disputed state pending conclusion of mediation. --Tenebrae 20:04, 2 June 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Re: Mediation
We've both had some time off, which is healthy, and what with the Mediator asking us to work out our differences, I'm extending a hand. I propose we find a compromise solution that we each may not find perfect but which we both feel is accurate and reasonable. I hope and believe we can do this, and I look forward to putting our differences and hyperbolic language aside and working together. Please contact me. Thanks. -- Tenebrae 21:14, 4 June 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Critical Review: Let's find a solution FAST
Hi Facto, there is a post in the X-Men 3 talk called "Critical Review: Let's find a solution FAST" that I think you should take a look at. Please add comments and state your level of satisfaction with the situation. Let's try to resolve this as quickly as possible, as it is taking up tons of time and space in the talk. Hope to hear from you soon. --P-Chan 18:47, 5 June 2006 (UTC)
- Hey that's great to hear man! It was a bit of a compromise, I'm glad you're ok with it. --P-Chan 01:46, 6 June 2006 (UTC)

[edit] WP:CNB
Thank you for inviting me to the notice board. I joined it after some careful consideration. However, I may not be able to be very active in the conservative (or otherwise political) articles, much of my time is spent on history. But maybe I can still actively contribute in some medium.
Also, it is not necessary to use underscores in wikilinks, as you did on my talk page. But thank you again. Эйрон Кинни (t) 06:51, 15 June 2006 (UTC)
Thank you for joining! It's just getting started. --Facto 06:53, 15 June 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Spamming
I don't think it would serve much use to block you for your recent spamming for the deleted conservative noticeboard--you seem overall to be a good editor. But please consider this to be a formal warning that you shouldn't engage in partisan organisation of Wikipedia. This is incompatible with our Neutrality policy. We're supposed to set aside our partisanship at the door. --Tony Sidaway 14:54, 15 June 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Who was that {{agf}} for?
I'm sorry, I wasn't clear if you were talking to me or not, on Tony Sidaway's page just then. -GTBacchus(talk) 17:58, 15 June 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Conservative notice board
It's been deleted. Not sure what is going on. --James Bond 05:05, 16 June 2006 (UTC)

[edit] NPOV
Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. As a member of the Wikipedia community, I would like to remind you of Wikipedia's neutral-point-of-view policy for editors. In the meantime, please be bold and continue contributing to Wikipedia. Thank you! —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Hipocrite (talk • contribs) 08:35, June 17, 2006 (UTC).

[edit] Conservative user box
Facto, to make it easier and more standard to use your conservative user box, I created a user box sub-page. Now anyone can add your userbox by putting {{User:Facto/Userboxes/Conservative}} in their user page. I also added these directions to Category:Conservative Wikipedians. I hope that's okay with you. I could have put it in my userspace, but I felt you ought to have the honor since it was your box. DavidBailey 02:17, 19 June 2006 (UTC)
- Thank you David. --Facto 02:57, 19 June 2006 (UTC)

SuggestBot predicts that you will enjoy editing some of these articles. Have fun!
SuggestBot picks articles in a number of ways based on other articles you've edited, including straight text similarity, following wikilinks, and matching your editing patterns against those of other Wikipedians. It tries to recommend only articles that other Wikipedians have marked as needing work. Your contributions make Wikipedia better -- thanks for helping.
If you have feedback on how to make SuggestBot better, please tell me on SuggestBot's talk page. Thanks from ForteTuba, SuggestBot's caretaker.

[edit] Orphaned fair use image (Image:Jean.png)
|
Thanks for uploading Image:Jean.png. I notice the 'image' page currently specifies that the image can be used under a fair use license. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful.
If you have uploaded other fair use media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Nv8200p talk 02:13, 1 July 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Spoken article sound file for Jean Gray.
Gidday. Your spoken article addition to the article Jean Grey does not seem to be intelligible. The file, as I stated on Talk:Jean Grey, sounds like a robotic or synthesized voice. While I apologize for not not contacting you directly, I am very surprised that you apparently do not watch the Jean Grey article already. Anyway, I have removed the file from the article. If you can explain how, exactly, you made the file and why it sounds the way it does, I'd appreciate it. Nevertheless, if you wish not to, I'll accept your decision. Oh, and one more thing; in the future, please don't add anymore sound files like this. I can usually understand an artificial voice, but your files were impossible. Thus, as Wikipedia does not need to be linking to useless media, I'd recommend using real human voices, or not making anymore files at all. ACS (Wikipedian); Talk to the Ace. See what I've edited. 05:49, 24 September 2006 (UTC)
